 | Childrenomics A partnership publication of the Stavros Center and Hillsborough County Schools, the material in Childrenomics is designed to enhance instruction and promote higher order thinking skills. Many of the activities prepare students for assessment tests such as FCAT and Florida Writes! A team of elementary teachers from throughout Hillsborough County worked to provide the ideas for these activities.

The economic content presented in these materials focuses on key economic objectives taught through teacher-directed lessons and reinforced by student activity pages with hands-on projects. Key economic objectives include scarcity, wants, needs, decision making, and opportunity cost.

And Baby Make$ Two is a newsletter specifically designed to help teenage parents make good decisions for themselves and for their babies. The newsletter also contains articles on ways single teen parents can gain control of their lives, as well as suggestions, resources, lessons, and professional advice on assuming the new financial responsibilities associated with parenthood.
